Nash Finch Names Former SuperValu Exec to Head Company
Minneapolis, Food distributor Nash Finch said it appointed a former executive from rival SuperValu to lead the company as it deals with an insider-trading inquiry and a consolidating industry. Alec Covington, 49, will assume the role of CEO in May. Covington replaces Ron Marshall, who stepped down as CEO earlier this year. Chairman Allister Graham served as interim CEO during the search process.
