Nardelli named CEO at Cerberus unit

New York City Former Home Depot and Chrysler chairman and CEO Robert Nardelli has been named CEO of Cerberus Operating and Advisory Co.

Nardelli will oversee the management of the portfolio companies in which the funds and accounts managed by Cerberus and its affiliates are invested.

He will also join the private investment firm's investment committee and valuation committee, while also being involved in due diligence projects related to potential investments.

Nardelli most recently was chairman and CEO of Chrysler. Prior to that, he served as chairman, president and CEO of The Home Depot from 2000 to 2007.
