Macy’s Names New Board Member

Cincinnati Macy’s, Inc.’s board of directors has elected Amy Hanson as senior VP for property development, effective immediately. In her new role, she will oversee a range of corporate-level functions, including store design and construction, real estate, energy services, sustainability, licensed operations, non-merchandise purchasing and foodservice (including in-store restaurants).

Previously, Hanson was vice chairman and director of stores at Minneapolis-based Macy’s North and led the transition as Macy’s North was consolidated into the Macy’s East division this spring.
