Kroger names new chief for The Little Clinic
Cincinnati Kroger Co. said Friday it has named Michael J. Stoll CEO of The Little Clinic, the in-store health-services provider that is now wholly owned by Kroger.
Stoll is a 34-year Kroger veteran of the human resources and operations departments, most recently as VP corporate benefits. In that role he was key in developing the healthcare strategy and pension plans for Kroger's 334,000 full- and part-time workers, according to Kroger.
Kroger began opening Little Clinic sites in its stores in 2003 and acquired the company, which is based in Brentwood, Tenn., in February of this year.
Theresa Monti was promoted to succeed Stoll as VP corporate benefits. She is formerly director of corporate health- and welfare-benefit programs for Kroger.
