KPMG Hires Consumer-Markets Head
Patrick “Pat” W. Dolan has joined KPMG LLP, the audit, tax and advisory firm, to head its consumer-markets practice.
Dolan will serve as national line of business leader—consumer markets, and U.S. sector leader—food, drink and consumer goods, for KPMG. In his new role, Dolan will be responsible for growing the firm’s consumer-markets line of business, strengthening the firm’s brand, and working with KPMG partners and professionals across the United States.
At KPMG, Dolan will seek to broaden and deepen relationships with senior executives to develop consumer-markets opportunities, and will act as the lead engagement partner on several large client engagements. He will also help drive the creation of market recognized thought leadership and industry knowledge materials for consumer markets and food, drink and consumer goods.
Dolan is a professional services veteran with deep audit and advisory services experience — and almost 30 years in the consumer markets and wholesale distribution industries. He began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1976 and held positions of increasing responsibility through 2002, serving Andersen as managing partner of its business consulting practice in the central region, and as regional managing partner of the audit, tax and consulting practices in that region. Dolan was a senior VP at BearingPoint where he created and managed a middle market consumer and industrial markets segment. Most recently, Pat was a corporate VP of operations at a privately held distribution company in Chicago.
