J. Crew brings former Google exec to board

New York City J. Crew Group has named Sukhinder Singh Cassidy, former Google president for Asia-Pacific and Latin-American operations, to its board of directors, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal on Thursday.

Cassidy is currently CEO-in-residence at Accel Partners, J. Crew’s venture capital firm.

The report suggested that J. Crew brought Cassidy on board to boost its online presence.
