Hot Topic CMO Resigns

City of Industry, Calif. Hot Topic, Inc. has announced that Maria Comfort, formerly the chief merchandising officer of the company's Hot Topic division, has resigned to pursue other opportunities.

The company did not say who would replace her. It said only that in addition to her responsibilities as CEO of Hot Topic, Betsy McLaughlin will continue to lead the Hot Topic division.
