Hibbett Promotes Rosenthal to President/COO

Birmingham, Ala. Hibbett Sports, Inc. said Tuesday it has promoted Jeffry O. Rosenthal from VP of merchandising to president and chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Rosenthal has been VP of merchandising since 1998. Prior to that time, he was VP and divisional merchandise manager for apparel with Champs Sports.

Hibbett Sports, Inc. operates sporting goods stores in small to mid-sized markets, predominately in the Sunbelt, Mid-Atlantic and the lower Midwest.
