Hibbett hires VP merchandising

Birmingham, Ala. Hibbett Sports said Thursday that Rebecca Jones will join the company as VP merchandising, effective in August.

Jones is currently VP/GMM–crafts at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores.

Hibbett Sports operates sporting-goods stores in small to mid-sized markets; the primary store format is Hibbett Sports, a 5,000-sq.-ft. store located in dominant strip centers and enclosed malls.
