Harrods Names New CEO

London Harrods Ltd. has appointed former Gucci Group director James McArthur to serve as its CEO and group chief.

McArthur will oversee the Knightsbridge, London department store, real estate and airport terminal retail outlets. He will report directly to Harrods chairman Mohamed Al Fayed.

McArthur was closely associated with Gucci's strategic development for 12 years.
