Guess names former Nike exec as new COO

Los Angeles Guess announced Wednesday it has appointed J. Michael Prince as its COO.

Prince, who joins the company on Nov. 15 and will oversee operational support and global supply chain, will report to Paul Marciano, CEO and vice chairman.

Since 2009, Prince has served as CFO of the Nike Affiliates division of Nike, which manages a portfolio of global lifestyle and sports brands. Previously, he held the same position for Converse, a Nike subsidiary.

The company also announced that its search for a president of the Americas is ongoing.
