The good works of the NRF Foundation will continue another year under the leadership of HSNi CEO Mindy Grossman and be complemented by the insights of four newly elected board members.
Ahead of the National Retail Federation’s annual convention in New York, the trade group’s non-profit arm said HSNi CEO Mindy Grossman would serve for another year as board chair and named four other retail industry executives to two-year board terms.
NRF Senior Vice President and NRF Foundation Executive Director Ellen Davis said the organization was excited and honored that Grossman would lead the charge for another year.
“Mindy’s leadership will continue to inspire the Foundation and the community of students, veterans and retail professionals with whom we work as we strive to shape the future of retail,” Davis said.
Grossman was first elected to chair the NRF Foundation Board in January 2013, taking over from Container Store CEO Kip Tindell, who currently serves as chairman of the NRF board.
The new addition to the board include Arlette Guthrie, vp of human resources at Home Depot, Steve Barr, U.S. retail and consumer leader at PwC, Deb Decker, chief client officer at Alliance Data and Danielle DiFerdinando, founder and creative director of Danielle Nicole.
“These distinguished additions to the NRF Foundation Board add even more weight to an already diverse list of talented executives who have a true desire to support and foster the growth of the next generation of retail talent,” Davis said.
