GNC names VP merchandising

Pittsburgh General Nutrition Centers has appointed Robert M. Kral to serve as senior VP merchandising.

Kral is a 27-year veteran of Walgreens, where he rose from store pharmacist to store manager, district manager and operations VP positions to head, as senior VP purchasing merchandising and marketing initiatives for the company. He left Walgreens in 2007 to become an entrepreneur and consultant.
