Former Staples VP Jailed for Embezzlement
Boston James Dorman, a former VP of Staples, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for embezzlement.
Gorman, who embezzled close to $600,000 from Staples, will also have to pay the company $585,000 in restitution.
Dorman plead guilty to mail fraud, wire fraud and money laundering for submitting invoices for made-up vendors and using corporate funds to pay for personal travel.
Dorman was fired in 2005 after the company learned about the embezzlement.
