Former Sears marketing exec moves to HP
New York City Just after Sears Holdings Corp. announced that its senior VP marketing had resigned, Hewlett-Packard Co. said Friday it is hiring the former Sears exec Richard Gerstein.
According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, who cited people familiar with the matter, Gerstein is expected to take a leadership role in HP's personal-computer marketing.
In recent weeks, two key marketing executives, Satjiv Chahil and David Roman, have left HP's PC division and the company has been seeking replacements.
