Former Kmart Exec to Head Mervyns

Hayward, Calif. Mervyns has named John Goodman, a former senior VP and chief apparel and home officer for Kmart, as president and CEO, effective April 7.

Goodman most recently served as president and general manager of Levi Strauss' Dockers brand.
