Finish Line Names Interim CFO

Indianapolis The Finish Line announced that COO Steven J. Schneider has been appointed to the additional role of interim CFO, effective Nov. 26. In addition, as previously announced, Schneider will also be appointed president of the company, effective Dec. 1.

Schneider succeeds Kevin Wampler, who is leaving to serve as CFO of Dollar Tree. Wampler will remain with the company through Nov. 25 to help ensure a smooth transition.

Schneider has served as COO of the company since Oct. 2003. He joined The Finish Line in April 1989 as VP, finance and CFO of the company.

The company has initiated a search to identify a candidate to fill the CFO position on a permanent basis.
