Finish Line Names CEO

Indianapolis The Finish Line Inc. has appointed Glenn S. Lyon as the company's next CEO following the planned retirement of Alan H. Cohen, effective Dec. 1.

Lyon, who currently serves as president, will also join the company’s board. Cohen will remain chairman.

Lyon joined The Finish Line in 2001 as executive VP and chief merchandising officer. Previously, he served as president and CEO of the now-defunct Paul Harris Stores Inc.

Steven Schneider, who has served as COO since 2003, will assume the role of president. Schneider joined Finish Line in 1989 as the company's CFO.
