Fast-food giant to debut table service

Changes are afoot at McDonald's.



The company is launching self-service ordering kiosk ordering with table service, the New York Times reported.



McDonald’s has tested the new order system in some 500 revamped U.S. restaurants in New York, Florida and Southern California a, according to the report, and it now plans to expand it to Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Seattle, Boston and Chicago. The system is also in place in 2,600 McDonald’s global restaurants.



McDonald’s also announced that it would roll out a mobile order payment system.
