Family Dollar Names VP, Merchandising Operations

Matthews, N.C., Family Dollar Stores has named Scott Zucker to the position of VP, merchandising operations. Zucker will report to Robert George, executive VP and chief merchandising officer.

In his new role, Zucker will oversee various departments including category management, pricing, merchandise solutions, vendor management and visual merchandising.

Zucker joined Family Dollar in 2006 as divisional VP, pricing. Prior to joining Family Dollar, he was a buyer with Belk, Inc.
