Family Dollar names IT exec

Matthews, N.C. Family Dollar Stores said Wednesday that it has named Scott Zucker VP -- IT solutions delivery. Zucker will report to Josh Jewett, senior VP -- information technology, CIO.

Zucker was previously the retailer’s divisional VP -- pricing, and most recently served as VP -- merchandise operations.

Family Dollar currently operates more than 6,700 stores in 44 states.
