Family Dollar Names Executive VP

Charlotte, N.C., Family Dollar Stores Inc. has promoted Barry Sullivan to executive VP of store operations, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

Sullivan began his career with Family Dollar in 2002 as VP of the Northeast U.S. division. He most recently was senior VP of store operations.

It is unclear if he is succeeding someone or filling a new position, the report said.
