Exec leaves Dick's Sporting Goods

Pittsburgh Dick's Sporting Goods said Gwendolyn K. Manto has left her position as executive VP and chief merchandising officer for the company, effective Tuesday.

The company doesn't expect to find a replacement, but instead will reconfigure its merchandising structure under Edward W. Stack, chairman and CEO, and Joseph H. Schmidt, president and COO, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Manto, a former Sears executive, joined the company in January 2006.
