Elfers Leaving Lord & Taylor

Purchase, N.Y. Women’s Wear Daily reported on WWD.com that Jane Elfers, president and CEO of Lord & Taylor, is leaving the company. Brendan Hoffman, the current president and CEO of Neiman Marcus Direct, is reportedly assuming the helm at Lord & Taylor.

In addition to announcing that Hoffman will take over as president and CEO, the WWD story speculated that Jeffrey Sherman, CEO of Hudson’s Bay Trading Co., will likely assume a larger role as parent company NRDC Equity Partners strives to achieve greater efficiencies across its retail divisions.
