Edens & Avant names Will Ponder VP investments

Columbia, S.C. Edens & Avant announced Thursday it has promoted Will Ponder to VP investments, responsible for Edens & Avant’s Southeast portfolio encompassing 40 properties.

In this role, Ponder will proactively execute strategic plans for the overall Southeast portfolio as well as on an individual asset basis. With a focus on creating long-term value, he also will seek investment opportunities through acquisitions and dispositions in the region, which includes Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas. Additionally, Ponder will work directly with joint-venture partners, including interfacing with investors on appropriate assets.

Ponder joined Edens & Avant in 2005 as capital markets associate and most recently was director of investments for the Southeast region.
