Dollarama names Office Depot legal head to board

Montreal - Dollarama Inc. has named Elisa D. Garcia, executive VP and chief legal officer of Office Depot Inc., as an independent director and member of the Nominating and Governance Committee. Garcia’s appointment expands the corporation’s board of directors to 10 directors, seven of whom are independent.



Garcia is responsible for managing legal, regulatory, compliance and government affairs matters for Office Depot worldwide, as well as loss prevention. Prior to joining Office Depot in 2007, she was executive VP, general counsel & corporate secretary for Domino’s Pizza Inc. Earlier in her career, she served in counsel positions for Philip Morris International and GAF Corp.
