DirectBuy names manufacturing vet as VP of sales

Merrillville, Ind. – Membership-based buying club DirectBuy has named Curt Fisher VP of sales. He brings more than 20 years of experience customer relationship management in Fortune 500 companies, including the past three years as Chicago-area general manager of residential HVAC manufacturer Goodman Manufacturing.



As DirectBuy’s VP of sales, Fisher will oversee the direction and management of internal sales development, the building of new sales channels, and the expansion of the company’s marketplace reach. Fisher held numerous leadership roles with Whirlpool from 2000-2011 in the areas of sales, marketing, competitive marketplace insights, and merchandising. He also spent five years with Maytag as a district sales manager.
