Destination Maternity names president

Philadelphia Destination Maternity Corp., which owns maternity wear retailers including A Pea in the Pod, said Monday it hired a new president, replacing founder Rebecca Matthias.

Emilia Fabricant, formerly president and chief marketing officer of Charlotte Russe, will take over as president immediately.

Matthias will retain her title of chief creative officer. She announced earlier that she plans to retire at the end of fiscal 2010 in September.
