Cost Plus announces exec changes

Oakland, Calif. Cost Plus announced that board member Christopher Dodds will not stand for reelection due to other time commitments, particularly his role as senior advisor with The Carlyle Group.

Ken Stevens, a member of the company’s audit committee, will replace Dodds. During the past year, the company added two members to its board of directors and will not seek to replace Dodds.

The company also announced that Ray Whitley, senior VP supply chain, has left the company. Whitley’s position will not be replaced and his responsibilities have been assigned to other members of the executive team.
