Container Store CEO named chairman, NRF Foundation board
New York City The NRF Foundation announced Tuesday that Kip Tindell, chairman and CEO of Coppell, Texas-based The Container Store, was elected as the new chairman of the board for a one-year term.
Tindell replaces Arnold Zetcher, former chairman of Talbots, who served from 2008-2010.
The NRF Federation is the education and research arm of the National Retail Federation.
In addition, four new members were elected to serve two-year terms, including Robert M. Beall II, chairman, Beall’s; Shane Berry, senior VP and general manager, American Express Co.; Jan de Jong, worldwide industry executive, Microsoft Corp.; and Richard Last, VP and director of new business development, J.C. Penney Co.
