Coldwater Creek names exec

Sandpoint, Idaho Coldwater Creek said Thursday that it has appointed Jerome Jessup as executive VP, creative director, effective Aug. 3. Jessup will report to Daniel Griesemer, president and CEO.

In the newly created role, Jessup will have functional responsibility for brand management, creative services and visual merchandising, said the company.

"Over the past year we have implemented several key strategic initiatives to improve our business, and we are confident that now is the time to invest in further developing our capabilities,” said Griesemer.

Jessup has served as senior executive VP/design and merchandising for Ann Taylor, and has led design and product development for Gap’s Banana Republic, Gap, GapKids, babyGap and GapBody banners.
