Cohen & Co., Inc. Real Estate Announces New Senior Sales Broker

As part of a continued expansion of its longstanding and well developed sales brokerage business, Cohen & Co., Inc. Real Estate, an industry-leading brokerage firm specializing in retail commercial properties, has announced the hiring of Keith Lefkof as senior sales broker.

Lefkof has more than 8 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and brings with him a broad set of client relationships including institutions, private owners and REITs.

During the previous eight years he was with Norman Bobrow & Co., Inc. As senior broker in the investment sales and leasing department, during which he successfully negotiated numerous deals totaling more than 700,000 sq. ft. In 2007, he was recognized by the firm for his success and was awarded “Broker of the Year”.

Lefkof’s experience includes successfully negotiated deals for the sale and purchase of shopping centers, office buildings and apartment complexes throughout the United States. This includes the sale of a 12 property portfolio consisting of seven grocery anchored shopping centers and five CVS drug stores located throughout the southeastern United States.

Earlier in his career, Lefkof was in the hotel industry in management positions with Interstate Hotels and Promus Hotel Corp. Keith received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. He received his New York State real estate broker’s license in 2006 and is in the process of completing his California real estate broker’s license.
