Charming Shoppes Mourns Death of Board Member

Bensalem, Pa. Charming Shoppes announced that board member William O. Albertini passed away unexpectedly on June 28. He was 64.

Albertini was executive VP and CFO of Bell Atlantic Corp. from 1991 through 1997. In 1997, he became executive VP and CFO of Bell Atlantic Global Wireless, and remained in that position until his retirement in 1999.
