CBRE names urban retail head, NY tri-state chief

New York City CB Richard Ellis announced that it has appointed Nina Kampler as senior managing director of the company’s New York Tri-State Retail Services Group, as well as head of the firm’s Urban Retail Group in the Americas.

In her new roles, Kampler will work closely with the company’s Manhattan, outer borough and suburban retail professionals to strengthen CBRE’s retail real estate capabilities in the New York Tri-State Region. She also joins a leadership team to spearhead the Urban Retail Group in the Americas.

“As the business of retail continues to expand internationally and more and more investors and retailers act globally, CBRE is enhancing its Urban ‘High Street’ Retail practice,” said Anthony Buono, executive managing director of CBRE Retail Services.

Most recently, Kampler was executive VP strategic retail and corporate solutions for Hilco Real Estate. Prior to that, she was VP retail and Real Estate Counsel for the Polo Ralph Lauren Corp.

Kampler will be based in Manhattan.
