Borders names marketing exec

Ann Arbor, Mich. Borders Group said Thursday it has appointed Bill Dandy senior VP, marketing, effective Nov. 20.

Most recently, Dandy served as executive VP marketing for Mattress Firm. Prior to that, he served as chief marketing officer for Dick's Sporting Goods.
