Blockbuster COO Out

Dallas, Blockbuster Inc. said Tuesday its COO Nick Shepherd is leaving the company at the end of September, and two former 7-Eleven Inc. executives are coming on board.

Keith Morrow will serve as CIO, and David Podeschi will join the company as senior VP of merchandising, distribution and logistics.

Morrow most recently was the CIO and senior VP of information systems at 7-Eleven, where he oversaw the company’s North American information technology activities. Podeschi most recently was senior VP of merchandising and logistics at 7-Eleven.
