Bigg's names CEO

The president of grocery store chain Bigg’s is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Steve Kaczynski will be replaced by Jimmy Nichols, Bigg's VP merchandising.

Kaczynski was named president of the 11-store regional chain in 2006. He previously worked for Wild Oats Market.

Nichols, a 25-year veteran in the grocery industry, has also held various leadership roles in marketing and category management for Supervalu.
