Bi-Lo Names New CEO

Mauldin, S.C. According to a report in The Greenville News, Lone Star Funds of Dallas, owner of Mauldin, S.C.-based grocery chain Bi-Lo, announced that Randall Onstead will assume the role of president and chief executive at Bi-Lo on Jan. 1. Onstead, a member of the Bi-Lo board and former CEO of Houston-based Randall’s Food Markets, will replace Brian Hotarek, who is retiring from the leadership role at Bi-Lo effective Dec. 31.

Bi-Lo operates more than 220 supermarkets in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
