Bi-Lo Announces New President, CEO

Greenville, N.C. Bi-Lo has named Michael Byars, a 30-year veteran of the supermarket industry, its new president and CEO. He is taking over from Randall Onstead, interim chief executive, who is remaining chairman of the board.

Prior to taking the Bi-Lo position, Byars served as president and CEO of Minyard Food Stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas.
