Bebe names Wiggett permanent CEO

Brisbane, Calif. – Bebe Stores Inc. has named Jim Wiggett, who has been serving as interim CEO since June 2014, as permanent CEO and member of the board of directors. Wiggett is a 40-year retail and business veteran.



Prior to serving as interim CEO, Wiggett provided advisory services to the company for five years. Wiggett founded the Jackson Hole Group, a strategic consulting group, in 2002, and previously held a number of senior executive positions, including the Charles Schwab Corporation, Duty Free Stores (DFS), and most recently Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton (LVMH).



Wiggett replaced former CEO Steve Birkhold, who resigned after the company reported a loss in the third quarter of fiscal 2014.
