Arden Group names new CFO

Los Angeles Arden Group, the parent company of Southern California supermarket chain Gelson's Markets, announced late Monday it has named Laura Neumann as its new CFO.

Neumann has worked for Arden for more than a decade, most recently as the company's senior director of financial reporting and compliance. In the absence of a CFO, Neumann handled many of those duties as the principal financial officer of the company since July 2005.
