American Eagle Outfitters CMO to Leave

Pittsburgh American Eagle Outfitters Inc. said Thursday its chief merchandising officer will leave, effective Jan. 31, 2009.

Susan P. McGalla will not renew her contract as president and chief merchandising officer when it expires.

McGalla worked at American Eagle for 14 years.

She said in a statement it was time to "move on to new challenges."
