Aldi on hiring binge

Batavia, Ill. – Aldi wants you – if you are someone looking for a store-level retail job.



The rapidly growing discount supermarket retailer will host hiring events throughout the U.S. during the month of August for more than 2,500 positions.



With more than 1,400 stores in 32 states, Aldi is looking to create 10,000 new jobs by the end of 2018. The chain is in the midst of its strategic plan to open 650 new locations across the country, bringing its total number of U.S. stores to nearly 2,000 coast-to-coast by the end of 2018.



Aldi will open its first stores in Southern California in March 2016.
