Advance Auto Parts Names CEO

Roanoke, Va., Advance Auto Parts Inc. on Thursday named Darren R. Jackson president and CEO, effective Jan. 7.

Jackson replaces John C. Brouillard, who has held the roles since Michael N. Coppola resigned in May. Brouillard will become the non-executive board chairman.

Jackson was most recently an executive VP at Best Buy Co. Inc., and has been on Advance Auto Parts’ board since 2004.
