Zumiez Soars in May; Hot Topic Declines

New York City, On Wednesday, Zumiez Inc. announced that total net sales for the month of May increased 51.6% to $22.7 million. Same-store sales increased 11.2% over that same period.

Hot Topic reported that same-store sales dropped 6.1% in the month of May. Total sales declined 2% to $45.1 million in that same period.
