Zappos testing printed catalogs
Henderson, Nev. Online retailer Zappos.com has sent out 750,000 copies of a printed catalog called Zappos Life to consumers, according to a New York Times report.
The catalog has a fashion and designer focus, offering products such as handbags, jewelry, clothing and fragrances, in addition to footwear.
The catalog is the third from Zappos this year and is a part of a series of tests. According to the report, Zappos is planning a spring catalog for 2010 and perhaps others with themes such as “weddings, in June, or housewares, around Thanksgiving.”
