Yankee Candle modernizes front end

Yankee Candle is all about catering to its customers. A new point-of-sale will help associates further drive this experience.



In addition to its direct mail catalogs, an e-commerce site and a wholesale division, the specialty brand operates approximately 35,000 store locations, a growing base of more than 500 company owned and operated retail stores — and continues to grow. To ensure that its stores have the most modern POS technology to connect with its shoppers in-store, Yankee Candle is deploying a new POS with gesture touch-based screen functionality.



The TCxWave system, from Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions and its Together Commerce Alliance business partner Certified Retail Solutions, is a stylish, durable ergonomic solution designed to improve transaction time — factors that will improve the customer checkout experience. The POS fleet will be deployed across stores in North America and the United Kingdom during 2017.
