Yankee Candle Appoints CFO

South Deerfield, Mass., Yankee Candle Co. has named Bruce H. Besanko as CFO to replace the retiring Robert R. Spellman. Besanko joins the candle maker and retailer from Best Buy, where he held the post of VP of finance. Prior to working at Best Buy, Besanko held several financial leadership positions at Sears, Roebuck and Co.
