X Team International reports $746 million in 3Q transactional volume
Boston -X Team International, an international alliance of retail real estate advisors with expertise in more than 45 major markets throughout the U.S. and Canada, released third quarter transactional volumes totaling $746 million, bringing its year-to-date transactional volume to more than $2.24 billion.
During the third quarter 2014, X Team reported positive increases from the previous quarter with sales of retail commercial properties nearly doubling to more than 6 million sq. ft. The transactional value of these sales remained steady after experiencing a rebound of an 8.4% increase between the first and second quarter of 2014.
“Our data is a high-level overview of strengths and pain-points taking place across the industry, helping to serve as a great indicator of what is to come through the remainder of 2014 and into the start of 2015,” said Jonathan Lapat, X Team International president.
The data collected also shows that X Team’s retail leasing activity remained flat in the third quarter with nearly 4.6 million sq. ft. leased. Despite the level leasing rate, the quarter still recorded an increase of 700,000 leased sq. ft. from the start of the year, and the total transaction values of these leases also increased by $7.5 million to $557.5 million.
