Wren hires former HD exec
Wren, the Atlanta-based provider of surveillance and security solutions, has named Eric White as director of retail strategy. White will drive Wren’s strategic retail initiatives, and his responsibilities will include market analysis, business and product development, and customer advisory services.
White is a 17-year veteran of Wal-Mart, which he joined as an in-store loss prevention associate and later served as director of global readiness and integration and new market asset protection. From there, White went on to Home Depot, where he was hired as division director of asset protection, responsible for profit protection, shrink reduction, facility safety, crime prevention and response, and environmental and regulatory compliance for 800 stores.
In his new position at Wren, White will serve as the chief blogger of LPXtra, Wren’s blog for retail professionals in the loss prevention field.
